International Makeup Swap – Thailand/ France

24 Jun

Hi everyone! I’m so excited to share with you the package I recently received.

Sonam, my new friend from France, messaged me more than a month ago and asked me if I will be interested for a swap. Since I haven’t done any swap from France yet, I willingly agreed. We have exchanged e-mails getting to know more each other and finding out what each of us like. Like with my other swaps, we also did not set any price/ amount of goodies we will send each other.

Before I show you what products I got, I would like to send my appreciation and thanks to Sonam for being so nice and generous. I’m really happy to know you and become your new friend πŸ™‚

So let’s take a peek of what’s inside the box…

Thanks again, Sonam for all these wonderful goodies. I received so much from you! I actually had no idea what she sent me because I told her I want to be surprised πŸ™‚ Some items may have broken and spilled but it’s not really a problem because I can still use them all. I’ll certainly enjoy using and playing with them.

She hasn’t received my package yet 😦 even if I sent it a week earlier. I hope she gets it this week and that she likes what I got her. I had fun shopping for her.

Update:Β Her package was sent back to me. I had to phone La Poste in France and ask them about the whereabouts of the package and I was told it has to be returned since it was not picked up at the post office when my friend did not get any claim stub at all. As much as I want to complain I can’t anymore as the package was on transit. To cut the long story short, I resend the package via EMS and she FINALLY got it after so much drama. If you want to see what I got her, check out Sonam’s blog entry here.

Like I said in my previous swap posts, aside from receiving goodies that are not locally available, making new friends from different parts of the world is what excites me the most! I’m happy to have made a new friend again.

Have you tried doing a swap? Care to share your experience?

Cheers! πŸ™‚

Wowee! that’s a lot of goodies in there. I’ve never tried any swap actually, and I think the first time I’ve read about this was from one of your old posts. πŸ™‚ Perhaps one day I could see if one would like to swap beauty or skincare products. You must be over the moon!

Yeah, I am really excited to try them all πŸ™‚

Swaps are really fun, you should try it sometime. Like I said before, it’s like an upgraded version of having a pen pal πŸ™‚

      Hi Sonam,
Yeah, I did. Glad to know you liked it.

Did you get yours yet? I’m really worried if you haven’t 😦 I’ll check with our post office here again. Hope you get it real soon. Take care!

No, still no package. =/ I went to the post office but usually if you don’t have a calling card left by the mailman, they don’t really pay attention to you. So outrageous. Anyway, there’s no hurry so I guess I’ll just wait and see what they do. Take care!
